Do you have a manuscript which you think is worthy of publication, but which has been passed over by the industry?
We are looking for writers to test a new model of book publishing, which we believe will revolutionise the way writers connect to readers in the 21st century.
In order to take part:
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- You must have a completed, full-length book, which is entirely your own work and written in English: novel, short story collection, non-fiction or poetry collection.
- You must not be planning to publish it by other means. Please do not apply if your manuscript is currently under consideration by agents or publishers, or if you intend to submit it to anybody, or to self-publish.
How does it work?
We can’t tell you at the moment. We’re keeping the process secret during the testing period, and if you’re selected to take part you’ll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. But you’ll have the chance to pull out if you decide it’s not for you.
Can you guarantee my book will be published?
No. We estimate that one out of every ten manuscripts submitted will make it to publication. But if you are successful your work will be professionally edited, formatted, proofread and packaged. We are negotiating with distributors to ensure that our books are available in high street shops as well as online.
What will it cost?
Nothing. We believe that writers should be paid, not pay for publication if their work is good enough. You will never be asked for money, will earn royalties if you are published, and will retain all copyright in your work.
What do I need to do?
We are currently inviting expressions of interest while the digital platform is being constructed. Please do not send us any manuscripts or samples at this stage. If you are interested in finding out more, click on the link below and fill out a short form. There’s no commitment, and you can pull out at any stage.
